The Charles Street Inn offers nine spacious and elegant rooms set in a luxurious, renovated 1860 townhouse in the heart of Boston's historic Beacon Hill, and minutes to all the city's many charms. Each room is distinctively decorated in antique furnishings, rich historic colors and fabrics, rich wool Oriental rugs, and is named for a famous Boston Victorian artist. Working marble fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, Sub Zero refrigerators, DSL internet access, BOSE CDplayer/radios, and 27' Sony TV/VCR's and gorgeous imported bed linens ensure guest comfort. Complimentary deluxe continental breakfast served en suite. A wide range of dining, theater, musical events, tourist attractions, historic sites and outdoor activities are within a few minutes walk from the inn. Friendly, knowledgeable staff greet guests from 7 am to 9 pm, and on site management are always available for special requests. Roll-away beds, suitable for adults as well as children, are available in any room upon request.

When 94 Charles was open for show-home tours in the 1860s, Beacon Hill was the residence of many great writers, philosophers, and artists. They walked this street, and some probably toured this model-home, so we named the rooms for our famous by-gone neighbors.

Located on the flat of Beacon Hill, the Charles Street Inn is just 3 miles from Logan Airport, and just ten minutes by taxi. South Station (the main rail terminal linking Boston to New York) is also about ten minutes by taxi.
Go north a couple blocks on Charles Street to find the Charles River Esplanade and the Longfellow Bridge. Also to the north, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Eye and Ear Infirmary are just minutes away by foot.
The same distance south leads to the world famous Public Gardens, the Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, and the Theatre District.
Also walking distance from the Inn are the Massachusetts State House and the Financial District, Newbury Street and the Back Bay, Fanuel Hall and the Fleet Center.
